Robocop
RoboCop is a science fiction action film released in 1987 starring Peter Weller, Nancy Allen, Daniel O'Herlihy, Ronny Cox, Kurtwood Smith, and Miguel Ferrer. The story is set in a crime-ridden Detroit in the near future and follows police officer Alex Murphy (Weller), who is brutally murdered by a gang of criminals and then resurrected as a cyborg police officer, known as RoboCop. The movie was a critical and commercial success and spawning two sequels, several television series, and a reboot in 2014. RoboCop is known for its graphic violence and special effects.
